Sunday the last day of Paris.
So off to see the last couple of attractions.
Past the Notre Dame to hear the bells , line way too long to consider.
Then onto Saint Chappelle. A very beautiful church with great stain glass windows.
Then a pleasant stroll uphill to The Parthenon , where the greats of Paris are entombed, and then a pleasant stroll back downhill to the Metro
We then found a new shopping centre with an incredible doomed stained glass roof. Mind you the prices and the product reflected the wonderful environment.
Round it out with a lovely dinner and a view of the Eiffel Tower with its hourrly light show.
Farewell Paris!
Reflections on Paris, still a very beautiful city, surprisingly clean and a feeling of safe to travel around, at least in tourist areas. The metro weekly card is definitely the easiest way to get around, often quicker than alternatives, clean transport that took us around Paris out to Disneyland all for approx 32 for the week.
The hotels were good, with one being an older version , but providing that great Paris experience and the Hyatt which added the modern comfort.
